Q.) In 2004, building permits were granted to the property owner for 200 condo units and 48 hotel units, but little progress has been made toward starting the project.  There were plans to tear down many of the old buildings and rebuild.  Do you think that condos and hotel rooms should be built on the property?

Yes: 48 (19%)
No: 205 (81%)

Q.) The building permits expire in May 2009.  The property owner has requested a three-year extension of the building permits so he can find financing partners.  He is considering eliminating the condos and having about 200 hotel rooms.  Also, he is exploring building using the concrete framework of the existing large buildings, rather than demolishing those buildings.  Do you support the three-year extension and the change to all hotel rooms using many of the existing buildings?

Yes: 54 (22%)
No: 192 (78%)
